Oval Sites, Hackney
Client: LB of Tower Hamlets
Status: Completed 2016
We provided expert evidence to a public inquiry to support the London Borough of Tower Hamlets refusal of a tall building within Regent’s Canal conservation area. We produced an illustrative masterplan that demonstrated the capacity of the wider development area to accommodate high density housing without exceptionally tall buildings in inappropriate locations. The Inspector dismissed the appeal in support of the Council’s refusal of the tall building.
